What is Partial.ly?
Our program automatically processes scheduled payments and provides a variety of tools to streamline the payment plan process.
How much does it cost to use Partial.ly?
Partial.ly's fee is 5% + $0.30 per transaction. The Stripe fee is included in this rate. There are no other additional fees or costs associated with using or getting Partial.ly setup.
You will not be charged anything by Shopify for orders placed with Partial.ly. You will only be charged the Partial.ly application fee for Partial.ly transactions.
How do I add a Partial.ly checkout button to my Shopify website?
You will first need to create a Partial.ly Merchant Account at https://partial.ly/register where you will be required to do the following:
1. Create a Stripe Express account (payment processor)
2. Create an Offer (payment plan terms)
3. Connect Store (Shopify)
Once completed, you can click the 'Integration Tool' next to your offer to generate a code snippet to place in the cart.liquid file of your Shopify theme. This code snippet will create a checkout button.

How do I give a Partial.ly support agent access to my Shopify admin?
Email support@partial.ly to request assistance. We will email you a Shopify access request.
What happens when an order is paid for with Partial.ly?
When a customer purchases from your website with Partial.ly, the order will automatically be added to your Shopify order admin with all associated product and customer information. The order will be listed as 'Partially paid' and will reflect the current balance of the payment plan.
As automated (or manual) payment plan payments are made, the order balance will automatically update the associated Shopify order until the order is completely paid, at which point the payment status will automatically switch from 'Partially paid' to 'Paid'. Do not click the 'Capture payment' button on the order details page of your Shopify admin. Partial.ly will automatically charge the payments according to the payment plan schedule and send the payment info to Shopify.
How do I issue a refund for an order?
Partial.ly Payment Plans can only be canceled and refunded from your merchant account at partial.ly/login A guide can be seen here: https://support.partial.ly/cancel-refund-plan/
Can I use my own button design for the Partial.ly checkout button?
While Partial.ly provides a variety of default button options, you may also use a custom image of your own making.
When in the integration tool of your offer, select 'Image' and scroll down to select 'Custom Image URL'. You can find a guide here: https://support.partial.ly/using-a-custom-checkout-image/
